Buthaina Asamarai serves as a store clerk at Rabata Cultural Center. She’s currently in her third year at the University of Minnesota, studying to be an elementary teacher. She’s also a current board member at the University of Minnesota’s Al-Madinah Cultural Center, serving as its Co-Public Relations Officer.
She’s excited to work with other Muslim women at Rabata and further her connection with her religion.
In her free time she enjoys writing, reading, and photography. A big dream of hers is to write and publish her own poetry collections. She also really loves baking and wants to open her own bakery one day.
