To Our Dear Rabateers: The Hidden Hands Behind Ramadan Miracles

Dearest Rabateer,

As we find ourselves near the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of miracles, mercy, and renewal, we pause to reflect on the mighty force behind so much of what makes this month special at Rabata: you.

Behind every carefully planned program, every beautifully delivered class, every moment of inspiration experienced by thousands around the globe—there you are. Quietly, consistently, and compassionately holding up the work with your time, your talent, your dua, and your dedication.

This Ramadan, our theme “Mountains: The Miracles and the Might of Muslim Women’s Education” is more than just words. It is a reflection of the transformation that happens when women are enriched with knowledge, when hearts are softened by divine remembrance, and when entire communities are touched by the ripple effects of positive cultural change.

And you are a key part of this miracle.

You are the reason a woman in another part of the world feels seen, heard, and strengthened.

You are the reason a convert feels connected.

You are the reason a student feels encouraged to keep learning.

You are the reason Rabata can keep building a legacy of joy, faith, and growth.

At Rabata Cultural Center, this legacy shines brightly. The women at the RCC have made tremendous efforts in infusing Minnesota with the love of Allah and His Prophet ﷺ, and have made Rabata known for a warm and generous welcome to visitors who travel to experience the center in person.

Whether you’re updating a webpage, organizing Zoom rooms, managing logistics, or simply making dua for our collective success—please know that your efforts are not unseen. They are counted. By us, and by Allah, the One who sees all.

May your reward be vast and ongoing.

May your efforts be multiplied in this sacred month.

May your own heart be filled with light and your life surrounded by support and love.

And may Allah grant you help in this world and elevation in the next.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey.

Thank you for being a Rabateer.

Anse Afshan Malik, Rabata’s Director of Development, Ribaat Teacher Certification Graduate
